On 10-11 March, Don Bosco Animation Centre organized a very novel retreat called "Retreatainment." About 45 youngsters working youth and college students participated in this spiritual programme.This two day event began on 10th evening with the viewing of a short movie "Tree of Life!" which highlighted on treasuring the gift of life. The youngsters then moved into groups to discuss and reflect on the implications of the issues projected in the video. The session concluded with a reflection on YOUCAT (youth catechism).
Ms Milgen, a lecturer in a junior college had this to say about the event, "Aptly named Retreatainment coz it was a retreat full of fun. The first retreat i ever attended which had four value based movies in a row. Cool... ! The prayer and healing session was beautiful... felt a strange calm and inner peace... The group discussions were enriching... it was an amazing experience."
